Nokia Ovi Life Tools to introduce healthcare channel in India and Indonesia


NOKIA With increasing adoption of entry level handsets across emergingmarkets, Nokia’s Ovi Life Tools touts to serve as a beneficial tool to distribute valid information on crucial topics.Nokia has recently announced plans to improve the Ovi Life Tools by releasing a new health channel across both India and Indonesia..

According to a post on the official Nokia Conversationsblog, the healthcare services have noted a positive response in China with pregnancy advice boasting of high activation rates in the month of February. Since the offering made its way to Nigeria back in November last year, it seemed to have garnered good reviews by its users.
This newly introduced channel provides childcare or pregnancy advice as well as men and women’s health related information. These services also cover a wide variety of essential topics such as heart,respiratory, hepatitis, diabetes and digestive system that are specific to certain countries.
The Infant Care channel proffers suggestions and tips to support early childhood development. The Pregnancy Care channel for instance presents expectant mothers with daily content that sheds light on the weekly development stages of pregnancy.
